Agribarn Garfield

Mark and Kate purchased Larmax in Garfield in May 22, from Alan and Vicky, who after thirty odd years were ready to pass it on. Pete (Fitzy) is staying on thankfully, his reliability and knowledge is invaluable with old and new customers alike.

Larmax has also been renamed Agribarn Garfield to separate it from the Lang Lang store, which is also under new ownership.

Having been regular customers previously, Kate and Mark's intention is keeping Agribarn a local, service-based business. A ‘one stop shop’ with all the basic needs for stock and rural life, slowly adding a bit more of a focus on hardware.

Mark and Kate live on their beef farm, Jillangolo Park, in Tonimbuk where Kate grew up. Her family have been there since 1956, breeding Red Angus cattle. Mark, originally from Geelong, came to the farm and fell in love with the cows and the country, and has not left since.

The shop, at 2856 Princes Highway, opposite Garfield North Road is easy to get to, and open 7 days mostly (occasionally closing Sundays for Family functions)
